Canadian pipeline player Enbridge is set to build a pipeline from the Kearl oil sands project in northern Alberta to Edmonton.

Enbridge has sealed a deal with Kearl operators Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil to build the link, but said that an estimated cost would not be made public until the project's workscope and detailed engineering work had been finalised.

The pipeline also requires regulatory approval.
